I have a Porsche Cayenne S, and Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited...But the best/favorite ride for the winter is the Raptor! Tuned up to 600+ BHP (none of which is usable in the snow ).

Seven winters and it hasn’t let me down yet.

And this might keep this thread from being moved to the “Off-Topic” section. You’re welcome.

Maybe this will help too....Notice the garage mate in the next bay...Hard to tell, but looks like a F-Type? Now we should definitely be safe with this thread.

One of my winter rides, which I get to use for the first time today (6-7” of snow)…

The XE is my other winter ride. F-type is in storage, so the tractor is in the garage with the XE.

My wife was kind enough to step outside and take this. That's the car pocket in use. You can see the battery maintainer at the bottom. These things are huge so I tucked in the sides and used 8 foot bungees.

With appropriate tires—and a reasonable about of prudence—there is no reason whatsoever to keep our F-Types idled during winter. Life’s too short for me not to drive it whenever I can. (And, yes, I have other more suitable cars for winter). Where someone might have a bucket list I have a f&*^-et list.

I hear ya. I'm still in that new owner "stay away from my car" phase.

Understood and the last thing I want to suggest is you doing something you are uncomfortable with. And, of course, I respect your decision. At some point you might realize that your car, while a thing of beauty, is still just a thing. On the road of life there will be plenty of crap thrown at it—and/or you—and there’s a reason my motto is and long has been carpe diem.

Until spring then….

Stay healthy and happy.

Being cooped up—carped up?—in the UK has obviously affected you adversely Steve. May I suggest getting some air? (Preferably with a mask on if near or with other blokes).

Cheers mate!

Believe it or not, some of us enjoy winter. Pictures from my yard from past winters...

(That's a sunset, not a wildfire. )

Except for ice dams. I don't enjoy those.

Winter ride is my '19 Honda Ridgeline and it's unstoppable in the snow, even on the OEM all-season tires.

Oh, and this was not taken today.

Sorry no pick but 2021 Range Rover Sport and similar to SVR 575 a 2020 Ski Doo XCR 850.

F Type stored nicely. Up here the salt and slush would destroy it....and my heart at the same time.

To each his own!
