Default Worried about colour choice

Very nervous picking her up this week - thought I might have made a really bad decision to go Firesand ..

Could not have been more wrong ... she is absolutely delicious Likewise leaving chrome bits plus the accented wheels fit her perfectly.

Next job .... Xpel Film and some Gtechniq Serum coating.

Nice color indeed. I was tempted to get Firesand when I saw one in the dealership. It's distinctive but not in a crazy lime green way

I think between the flashy sports car colors, the f type's firesand orange is nicer than say ferrari red or Porsche yellow. It also looks different depending on the light. Jaguar did a good job when mixing colors to make this.

Default Firesand

That was my first choice but then thought it would be too bright so chose Italian Racing Red. However, it is gorgeous and I may have to rethink my choice. I still have some time to make changes although I think I am driving my salesman crazy!

The dealer principle had banned the colour from their stock cars ... until he saw mine. Now he will be ordering one. He disliked it in the roadster but loved the coupe.

Your car looks really good.. The F type is one car that looks good in any of the Jaguar colour selection.. I have the Italian Racing red and am really happy with it, yet I could have ordered it in any of the colours and not been unhappy.
Your wheel choice suits the car/colour.
I have the diamond gyrodyne wheels and they seem just right for mine without the pano roof.
Lawrence.

You definitely DID NOT make a mistake. That color combo is striking!

I don’t think you can go wrong with any color on the F-Type.

Your Firesand looks especially great!

Nice pictures. Based on them, Firesand may indeed look better on the coupe than on the convertible. And I like it on the convertible...

Car looks superb, nicely done pictures as well, and those orbit wheels look great too.

I love that color.

One thing that may be of interest, when I tried to trade in my (black) V8S convertible, I had a friend who works in the industry to look up all of the local auctions in the past few weeks (not ebay, but literally the auctions that car dealers work with for used inventory).

Same features, same miles, white sold better than black, black sold better than orange. (sold better as in both faster and higher prices, when all other points remain same like features, condition, and miles)

Not knocking it - just pointing out that it is a trendy color, and trendy colors don't always resell well.

Totally irrelevant to your ability to enjoy it, and also irrelevant if you don't sell/trade-in.

Indeed, very well known in the industry - "resale white" is a phrase I have heard a few times.

Like my old XK - was carnelian red with not another for sale in the country - still could not shift it privately.

Think this might be the first real keeper I have had since my old Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo.

Still looks better in person than in pictures though.

Agreed - I take photos for a living and can't do the colour justice. Even the best of Jag's own photos don't come close.

There are also multiple orange hues when the sun shines - a very interesting scheme.

I came so close to getting it in the convertible - love that color. Works so perfectly with the black. Only issue I could argue is that it doesn't quite go with the red calipers (arguably not really yellow either).

You two need to get together and post pix of your F-types, though I don't recall what color F-typical's is.
For example...

Black calipers would look good though...
