The English may feel the same way about the folks Down Under. I'm not sure; after all, I'm just a seppo myself. I do remember what Vezzini said, but am not sure if a Sicilian point of view carries much weight when death is NOT on the line.

My Grandma lived in a place for 40 odd years that didn't have an inside dunny instead it had a single hole outside Thunderbox which fed into a septic tank.
Not a helluva lot of fun to use in the middle of the night with redbacks hiding all over the place (including under the lid), never mind the stench!
See here for info about the redback: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redback_spider
It's very similar to the Black Widow spider.

I think we're conficted between being jealous of where they live, and in fear of the nasty spiders they have to contend with. Although their tendency to make every statement sound like a question is a bit annoying (damn those high rise terminators!) ...

Itvs "on track" to say, IMO, no. If the answer was yes, there would be no need for V8 tunes, because every V8 owner with a tune wanted more than 500-575 BHP. At 560 WHP, I would like more power, and my RWD V8 weighs a shade less than a current V6 S.

Great thread, this is just exactly what has been in my mind for a while, upgrading to a V8 or tune the RWD V6S. Drove a 2017 V8R AWD and hated it albeit the noise was nice. ESC was too intrusive and felt heavy AF. And turning OFF the ESC just made driving too hairy and not enjoyable due to the happy tail.

Call me a crappy driver, but with underwhelming MP4Ss, a quarter inch of throttle lights the RWD drive up like a funny car. With the pedal floored, its has essentially zero bite in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and so-so in 5th.
It's a tire problem. It's drag radial territory.

Good morning - I'm just new to this thread and hope its still going. I have a 2013 V6 RWD and would like to know more about the V6 + Tune option. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Sydney Australia where I can have this type of work done. So far I've only been speaking to Genuine Jaguar dealers who cannot provide any information about additional or after marker mods ?

But if you want to fit a larger crank pulley as well then you will need a mechanic unless you are fairly handy with the spanners yourself.
JLR dealerships will not do this work, they could if they wanted to but they are probably barred by corporate rules.
You need to find a decent independent mechanic preferably with Jag experience and especially supercharged Jag experience.
I had my crank pulley fitted by such an independent and it cost me around $250.
Cambo should be able to direct you to a good mechanic.

I'm looking at the VAP website and its around $ 1,433 AUD for the Tune and another $ 1,366 AUD for the pulley.
Then I need to have this installed and I'm concerned at the cost.
Am I looking at the correct site ? Is this pricing correct or am I going off at a tangent
Is there a Scuderia Veloce dealer in Sydney I can speak to ?
