Speakers do not look difficult at all and I figured they can be sourced for about $700.00. Campo’s write up is fantastic!

Already in the plan if I can ever get an appointment to get it looked at. I have a carpet issue that I have been waiting 5 weeks for approval and having it done at the same time.

I was a 4 stroke guy. Ran AFM, WSMC and an odd AMA. USGPRU would sometimes 'share' our events on the West Coast. The only one I remember by name is Chuck Sorenson.

Called my dealer here in San Diego and made an appointment for Thursday to get the software upgrade applied. Luckily I didn't have much explaining to do as they had already done the upgrade for a few clients and were aware of the issue. I ran a 37 (40hz actually) tone on my phone to the Jag stereo over bluetooth and sure enough the tweeters were vibrating. Glad I stumbled across this thread, was wondering why the darn speakers sounded so poor. Fingers crossed the upgrade fixes the issues.

My car is at the dealer right now and they recommended I replace the driverside tweeter for $468. I denied the work and sent them this TSB (JTB00537NAS2) since I am experiencing the same exact issues on my '15 R coupe.
Now the dealership is trying to charge me $325 for this update . Does this sound right? Advisor said they can apply the fix but it "may or may not fix the issue".

So I went in today and aside from learning my car was put 'In service' a year before being sold (AKA, I missed warranty by a month..), which is another story, they also told me that they no longer apply this TSB. So apparently the solution to a problem that is too common for their liking is to ignore it.. right. I'm going to try another dealership.

Wow, you too? I bought mine "new" at Livermore Jag and found out on the second yearly service that it was actually sold three months before I bought it. They sold me a used car as new.
Wishing you the best on getting it fixed!

Thanks. The service rep told me they were doing some 'VIP' (Vehicle in Progress or something) program a few years back to balance budget books. Just another accounting 'hack' that screws over the end consumer. It is what it is, I sent a message to Jaguar USA but don't expect anything as I am the second owner.
As for the TSB, the fact that you mention Livermore Jag as more of the same doesn't give me so much hope, as the dealer in question I visited was Stevens Creek - I was going to try Livermore next. The last dealership I know of in the Bay Area is SF Jaguar.

Car is new, to me, have had it a month.
How can you tell if the car has had the bulletin applied? Would the dealer be able to look this up in the vehicle history or do I need to take it in and have them scan it?
I don't have tweeters buzzing but the sub is a mess. All of the surround settings sound like crap.
Right now I have the treble turned down a bit, the bass left flat and the sub turned down by 1/2. Surround off, fader about 50% up front.
Overall, the voicing sounds pretty good but there's just no dynamic impact to the system.
I'll run a sweep on FFT later and see what comes out of where.
