I'm wondering if it's a tire compound thing. If there is any gravel on the roadway from pea size to 1" blue stone, I'm tossing rocks up underneath the car. I can just creep along on my gravel driveway and rocks are hammering the wheel wells. The fact that the car has been slammed by 1.25-1.5" might also be a factor.

Was that just a '14 thing?

Hmmm; probably only comes with that if you didn't get the skirts....

As far as the rash goes; my car was babied but you can see marks in the underside of the skirts from stones....some of which would probably have made it to the quarter. If I didn't have the skirts, I'd certainly want that stuff there.
