Xenon Lights

Changed out the Jag's OEM 4300K Philips "XenEcoStart" xenon bulbs. Went with Osram's "Cool Blue Intense" (CBI) bulbs.
So maybe you're thinking: Blue? Purple? No, just a nice pure white.
I've used the Osram CBI's in many other applications previously. I don't like the yellow-white color of the OEM 4300K buibs. What makes the CBI bulbs so amazing is their ability to offer up similar light (lumens) of the OEM builb, but at a higher Kelvin rating of 5000K. Usually bulbs lose lumens as their Kelvin rises. The CBI's new technology gives me the best of both. Light and color. Nice.
Interesting to note the F-Type's headlamps have a very subtle green tint when the bulb is lit up. Even noticed this with the stock bulbs as well. Could be the headlight cover or the headlamp lens. Nothing major. Just sayin'.
Didn't take before & after pics. Difficult to get an accurate representation of color.

Retrofit Source out of Atlanta. The Retrofit Source Inc You'll find the bulbs under "Components" and "HID Bulbs."
FWIW, the D3S CBI bulb just came out a couple weeks ago. Apparently, it took Osram time to adapt the CBI design into a mercury-free application sufficient to perform like the D1S bulbs.
(The Usual Full Disclosure: I have zero affiliation with Retrofit, but no faux bulbs from these guys. I've purchased from them for years.)
