The supercharged and natuarally aspirated are the same. My understanding is the internals are slightly different to handle the higher stresses. Do not confuse these with the Ford 5.0L engines. While there are common parts, the blocks are completely different.

Being less snappish and more informative is likely to get you a better response from members.

If you want to know if the same cylinder block casting is used for all JLR 5.0 variants, that question has been answered. If you are wanting to know if the 5.0 from model X will fit in model Y, that is a different question.

Didn't mean to come off As being snappy. Sorry about that if that's the way it came across. But yes just wondering if they're all the same 5.0 blocks range rover jaguars just the block itself I want to build a motor and I have an F pace but I have an option to buy an older engine block it's still a 5.0 just not sure if they were all the same though out the years.
thank you for your help

The only change in the basic casting that I recall reading about was cylinder head to block bolts during the run. Went from M10 to M11 but I can't remember if there was also a thread length change. Getting the model and VIN for the donor vehicle could help you with this kind of detail.

There is a tech bulletin on oil leaks behind the flex plate due to casting defects on some early models. Limited to 2010 if memory serves.

Ken,
If it helps get a copy of the AJ133 Technical Training pdf from my Dropbox here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8y4iax9hm2...%20V8.pdf?dl=0
AFAICT from that doc the only difference in the bare block between the NA and SC versions is that the SC has piston cooling jets (oil squirters for the undersides of the pistons) while the NA does not.
It doesn't show exactly where or how these squirters are attached to the block so there may or may not be bolt holes for them in the SC block, and even if so that may not make any real difference unless maybe you are trying to build an SC version using an NA block.
