98 3.2 sport central locking fault - Help!

Hi all, looking for some assistance with my dads new toy, a '98 3.2 auto sport. He's not very forum literate so I've joined on his behalf in the hope that someone can help. All was well until the tilt switch activated (due to the car being jacked up at an angle, now reset) Maybe a red herring? The problem we have now is that none of the doors lock via the remote button, the key lock (driver and passenger) or the internal lock buttons. We have done a remote key reset which seemed to be a common problem looking at this and other forums. This has not had any effect. The alarm works in so far as the lights flash to signal that it is armed and activates / sounds when the alarm is activated. The problem seems to be related to the actual central locking itself. Each door locks independently but will not lock via the CL either by the remote, the door locks via key or from the internal buttons. We have swapped out the drivers door module and security locking module for known working parts but again this has had no effect. It seems that this possibly a very basic fault but with the level of sophisticated electronics our limited fault finding skills and patience are being tested to the limit! We have been through all the usual basic checks of checking terminal connections etc and these all appear ok. Reading other threads there is some great advice for other CL faults but none that refer to this specific problem. Any guidance and assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
