Pladyt, the compressor is located on the underside of the engine on the passenger side. If you stand by the passenger tire and look into the engine bay, it will be on the far right, bottom component. You will be able to see the electric clutch on the front of the A/C compressor (it is not an air compressor per se).
With all that being said, to recharge the freon in your A/C system, you need to access the service ports for the A/C system. Those are not located near the A/C compressor. They are again on the passenger side, but back against the firewall. If you look, you will find 2 silver pipes (one big, one smaller) that have what appear to be bicycle valve stems coming off of the pipes. The larger of the two ports is your recharge port and this is where you will add freon.
NOt to make this project into a bigger deal, but if you are loosing freon, recharging the system is not going to do you much good as you will just spit the freon back out within a short period of time. You need to fix the leak before you just start dumping in freon. Also, adding more freon to an already full system is very bad. This can lead to catastrophic failure of your compressor. Recharging freon is a pretty easy thing to do, but if you don't follow the directions closely, can get very expensive very fast.

I would take the car to a specialist for automotive air con systems. They will be able to check for and find leaks using high-pressure nitrogen, then if there are none, discharge the system of refrigerant, recharge with the correct weight and also add compressor lubricant.
Don't try it yourself, it normally does not end up well. You could also pollute the atmosphere as well. The law demands that all air con refrigerant is recovered into closed and sealed tanks from the air con system.
