Yeah I just turned 30 and am losing ambition too so this will probably the last engine I'll build that's not necessary. But really the thread is gearheads exploring possible engine builds for the AJ V8s. So why would you even bother reading it if you have no interest in custom engine building?

There is a very simple way to make a decent Jaguar (aren't they all?) go faster.
It's not overly expensive and the same advice works for all models.
Look down into the driver's side foot-well and recognise which of the 2 pedals is smaller than the other.
Done that? OK, press down on it a little more .

So then when you got that to the floor and it's not fast enough what do you do?

Simples' Cut a hole in the floor.
