Default Battery disconnect

I seem to have a slow battery drain on my 2002 s-type v8. Is it ok to install and use a battery disconnect switch?

I have 5 running Jaguars and I use disconnects on ALL of them.

Jaguar used a disconnect on your car when it was on a transport to get to North America.

I have 9 running/driving vehicles on my goat ranch (many more for 'parts') and I cannot use all of them at once with just me and the wife.

I keep 5 or 6 on insurance at a time and rotate depending on the 'mood'.

The trucks stay on all year but others just need to be 'parked' for a while until it gets it's turn in the 'rotation'.

A battery disconnect keeps the 'resting' cars ready for service when called upon.

The radio sometimes 'forgets' all presets, the clock and 'trip-mileage' get to default blank but otherwise I'm good with it.
