Hi All,
Hope someone can throw some light on this as i am confused. So my Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel had the dreaded Restrictive performance and MIL light come on the other day, with the car running one piston short, so I fired up the diagnostic machine, came up injector three circuit. Change the injector and all was well for about ten minutes, and the fault returned, tried swapping injectors, changed the fuel return, and still the same problem injector three circuit.
any ideas or suggestions will be more than welcome.

The key word here is "circuit". It's begining to look as if the cable or plug to the injector has a break in it. Either it's in the plug that clips to the connector, or somewhere in the cable.
YOu'd be better putting your post in the forum for the XF. There are two, one for the old, steel-bodied cars, and the current aluminium bodies cars from 2015.
