Cristo, if you need any help with the computer stuff, let me know just happens to be what I do for a living... any help is greatly appreciated.
Trying to trace a short in the charging system, alternator is fine, putting out 15, but only getting 9 to the battery.

i currently have a 1999/2000 jag in many, many more pieces than i'd like, sat in my garden whilst i'm trying to trace a wiring loom fault, its not under cover and its starting to rain now![Icon Doh](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_doh.gif)
is there any chance i could get a wiring diagram or something you think might be more appropriate and then i wont be workin so far in the dark
many thanks in advance.
If you can help me get this sorted you would be a life-saver!

I'm looking for a better place to host the JTIS files - can you think of anything that is free?

Hi. Newbie here. I have a 99 VDP and I would love to have the JTIS files so I can learn more about my baby, do minor repairs myself and, perhaps most importantly, intelligently discuss issues with my mechanic. I've tried to download, but each of my 4 attempts has failed. Thanks in advance. Michael

GreenHornet - there isn't any pictures of the location of the IAT SENSOR. However there is a vast amount of trouble shooting of the circuitry between the maf, iat and the ecm. You really should download the JTIS and follow the steps. It practically holds your hand and has steps like:
Check voltage at pin 6 of maf - if voltage is x, go to step if less than go to step y and try something else. Maybe you can follow the wires from the maf, seems from searching the forum it is behind the maf sensor near the back of the mortor - but nothing pin pointed it. I'll pm you a link with my phone number - call me and we can go thru this together.
