The 2.5 hrs is about right I guess, the 2nd one is about 75% right now, so looks like its going to be OK. I have AT&T, and getting 32.5 KB per second. A little more than an hour to go. I think your probably right about it forcing the connection to reset. Anyway, seems its on its way. Thanks. Keith

Hi Christo,
would appreciate a link to this if possible.
Need to muck around with the starter motor on my Jag.
Incidentally, I'm really impressed with this site.
I couldn't find a UK site that was as friendly and useful.
Then again, I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to forums.

You should be getting alot more than that from me. Where are you located? 32kb transfer rate is close to 256kbps upload from me. I have 5000kbps which should equate to roughly 500kb transfer rate to you... Are you on wireless?
John Lang and Riz325
I will put you guys in the queue so as soon as I hear from Keith and ZIggyB63 - I will pm you guys...

Yep, wireless, but it actually faster than my desktop, which is hardwired. We live out in the country, at the outer edge of service from my DSL provider, so will never be as fast as it should, but still light years ahead of dial-up. Its at 88%, and shows another 30 minutes, so getting closer.

haha - I remember those days...FIOS just came to town over here and very please with the phone and internet but the television has been a little buggy. At least I see they are updating things periodically. I am sure they will work it out.
Also for the others, we can still use the other site but not too sure of the integrity of the files anymore. Here is the link just in case.
http://www.cannell.co.uk/Jaguar_Workshop_Manuals/ - I just checked it and it's up and running and I have linked to the entire index... Also that domain is from the uk so most likely that server is there too. So it should be faster for our European members as it is more local.
