I believe it has something to with the program being a 16 bit application and your windows software if either 32 or 64 bit? Another user had the same issue with the package I am hosting.

There was a way to run the setup in a compatiblity mode where you right click the installation file and tell it to run in a 16 bit compatable mode. This has worked for some...

But another we had to do this as well...

We first made sure the program was uninstalled.
Ran windows updates to make sure Vista was current.

In the software that I am hosting there is a DAO directory, there might be one on your cd if you explore it. In the DAO we ran a setup file in there and then began the installation and all went well.

No more buggers I think we can get past this...

Look for the setup file, should have an icon that is a picture of a computer.

Right click on that and left click on properties,
Click on the compatability tab,
Check the box next to "run this program in compatability mode for"

I would start out by choosing XP, if that doesnt work for you try the next until you can get thru the installation - you should be fine...

Let me know how you make out. You made need to do this for the DAO too, not sure...

This would be a great help for me too. I'd like the link for a 2000 S-Type V8. Thank you in advance.
