Default Closed warranty campaigns

Ok, here is my question. I went to my local Jaguar dealer yesterday to inquire whether they could look at the warranty history for my '98 XK8. They looked up the report and showed it to me (they would not give me a copy). It listed about 8 different dealer related services. There were several codes for the individual services. They would not tell me what the individual codes meant. I specifically asked if the cam tensioners were serviced and the only response they would give me was "There are no open service campaigns for your vehicle". "Your car if fine do not worry about it". I AM worried about it. My cars last 6 VIN #025956 and the car has 83k miles. I would rather not spend the money to pull the cam covers to check this. What are your thoughts?
Thanks for the input.

My suggestion would be to pull off a cover and take a look.

That way you will be 100% certain of what's under there and can either sleep soundly at night or make plans to get the work done.

This is no record of any timing chain repairs in your warranty history. You should probally just replace the tensioners for peace of mind.
