If anyone needs a B-203 cable one just popped up on eBay. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/263051243575
Actually a heap of WDS cables have recently been listed, battery cables and so on.
This is just for your info, not my sale!

Apparently the Autologic devices, although pricey, can indeed reset throttle adaptations. You must use the x300 selection.
Im going to use an x300 VIN and see if my WDS won't offer up that option as well. It does not offer it under the XJS VIN number.
I thought it would be of interest to the thread to confirm there is another device out there that can perform this required adjustment!

If RESET ADAPTATIONS is an option, then it will be with an early version of WDS or later version of PDU.
As an example, when WDS was first issued it had a NETWORK INTEGRITY TEST but was later discontinued. I have many early versions of WDS but I have not loaded a PTU with anything other than 43 in years.
You might try to locate a version 10 or 21 or 30 or something like that to see if it is an available option?

For anyone looking for a WDS, this one might check all your boxes! I have no affiliation with the seller, I simply stumbled upon this ad.

I'm having trouble disconnecting the PTU from the docking station. Batteries seem to be fine. They charge up and have been configured, or whatever the term the WDS uses to discharge and recharge the battery pack.
I go through the menu commands and when I hit the check tick, I disconnect and off the screen goes.
Any suggestions? Thanks

You might try to boot the PTU disconnected from the docking station to see if the battery pack is capable of a full charge and load for the thing to function.
I can usually get 5 or 10 minutes on battery power but I usually leave it docked OR plug the OBDII cable into the car to get power that way. You can also connect the A204 battery power cable but the PTU should run at least a few minutes on it's own.

Hello,
I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread!!! It’s a wealth of information.
I just purchased a Jaguar WDS system but I haven’t received it yet, but from the photos it boots to WIN98 screen then it wants to so a scandisk so I am not to worried about getting it up and running.
My new purchase doesn’t come with any CD’s and I would like to get some things organized before I receive it, I would much appreciate it if somebody can provide me with copies of Ghost, and the latest Jaguar software.
I have ordered the following items to upgrade my unit, all comments are appreciated:
8 - FDK HR 4/3AU Battery NiMH 1,2V 4000mAh bulk ON1342 US
128MB STICK SODIMM SD NON-ECC PC66 PC-66 66MHz 66 MHz SDRam 128 128M Ram Memory | eBay
Syba IDE 44-pin to Compact Flash Adapter Dual Slot 44 pin 2.5" Interface | eBay
Regards,

I have been using the the 44 pin adapter since the old HDDs are getting hard to find.. I use 4GB or 8GB.
SOME 128 PC66 will work in the memory slot. I have a few that are not compatible but claim they are. I suspect they are PC100 but they are NOT backward compatible!!!!!!!!
I use the single CF card adapters but I do have one MASTER/SLAVE card adapter and it works with two CF cards. The other card can be used as storage for Electrical Guides, JEPC and JTIS, etc. I have an old parallel printer connected for documentation HARD COPIES.
You can send me a Private Message for a way to get the 3 CDs worth of software.
Many of us have the old software available for download.
You need to copy the files to CDs and run in the docking station CD drive in succession.
It should take about 4 hours to load the software onto the WDS.
