I tried reprogramming (via CCF) the GWM/BCM with a bad cable and now I have several issues with multiple modules "not responding" including GWM. BCM is apparently "responding". The instrument cluster and many other things are playing up.
1. Can I somehow restore GWM? SDD is throwing errors when running GWM/BCM or Immobilisation commands where I have to start a new session. I keep trying and it keeps crashing.
2. Can a fried GWM cause false issues with other modules? If yes...
3. Can I buy a second hand GWM and wipe it and fix all issues?
4. Are GWM and BCM the same devices but mirrored?
I get this error when trying to run some of the commands that could potentially fix my problem... (not my screenshot)

I see this has had 94 Views but 0 Replies. Let's get some of the details and see if any of the module programming experts will bite.
Presumably your are running:
1. a cracked copy of SDD
2. possibly a Mongoose clone cable
3. although you add the screenshot is not yours, running SDD in Oracle VM rather than as a direct installation

Hi Graham,
Yes it is a cracked SDD and I used a clone Mongoose cable with no proper power. I did buy a proper cable (DA Dongle from DAA) and I now have a proper power supply (40A 14V). Didn't help as I keep getting those errors in SDD when I run repair tasks that could potentially fix my problem.
The screenshot isn't mine but the message is the same and SDD is installed locally on my Windows 10 laptop (with SSD disk, i5 and 8GB RAM).
A member of this forum is also trying to help (remotely) and a new (or used) GWM should help, but if my SDD doesn't work properly I don't think I will be able to sort it.
