Could someone check two things for me on a 2003 X350?

Looking for a part number for the small black plastic insert that goes over the screw behind the internal door handle on front passenger side.

Also looking for a diagram of the fixings on the undertray on the same car, my seems to hang low and I think it's missing the fixings in the middle of the tray so is only held on either end with nothing in the middle so it is bowing.

Thanks in advance

Can you give us any details on what did not work? What browser are you using?
Could you download it?
Or was it an install problem?

It will tough trying to figure anything out without the pictures.

Unfortunately there's no flash installed so those Macromedia directories aren't installed. Tried to install it from a variety of sources but no joy annoyingly. The instructions above are only really only for machines that already have flash installed. 🙄

Maybe buy a cheap laptop with flash on it?
Not a great solution but I have a dedicated laptop just for SDD since it's such picky software and they are cheap on EBay.

Try to upgrade to win10? I have it working on a win10 home machine.

Maybe I am doing this wrong. I have an HP laptop with Windows 10 64 bit. I thought I saved the text in the correct place, but as you can see, I get the photo of the cars, but not the illustrations.

Thoughts?

This is where I saved the text.

I get the initial photos

I still don't get the illustrations

I could do but the laptop I'm using has SDD on and is used for all my car software. It's ideal other than the lack of Flash and interestingly if you get anyone wanting to download and use JEPC now they're going to struggle with the same issues.

I hope some others try it and report whether it works for them as well.

Well, I attempted to load the Flash Player Pro 6.0 from the link. I was directed to Driver Support One. I purchased the software, but it did not resolve the problem. Driver Support One Tech Support told me that their driver software does not replace or resolve issues with Flash Player.

Clearly doing something wrong. I never actually got to download Flash Player 6.0.

I tried again and was able to download Flash Player 6.0. It says it is a 15 day trial version. I opened it, but it does not seem to do anything. I took photos of each screen.

Desktop Icon the download created

First box when clicking on the Icon

What I get when clicking on Try It

I went down my directory to JEPC

This is the various pull down menus from the tool bar

Wish I could help?
While I had it working now there are no pictures as before.
Something changed but I don't know what?

I have an "X" instead of the flash symbol so maybe not a flash problem?

Microsoft recently released a Windows upgrade package for the Flash EOL that partly removes, adds fake manifests to the system folders and disables all Flash operations. This update also stops any Flash from re-installing or operating in the future.
I am trying to do a work around for several days but no success at the moment.
Once this upgrade has been applied you will not see any images anymore. RIP Flash.
I don't know if the 2018 version uses Flash ?

Note for Graham (GGG) so sorry no longer resolved.

YES - I have the same situation following the latest Win10 upgrade. I've removed the "RESOLVED" from the thread title for now.

That is a bummer! I guess I lucked out by having a Mac using a Win XP virtual machine that doesn’t update the virtual OS as I deliberately prevent an internet connection in the VM. Don’t get updates for security but also low risk as no connection.
I probably don’t have the latest parts list updates but I do at least still have the JEPC graphics.
Maybe try a VM at least in the interim until you can figure out a way around the update.

Thanks for reminding me as I already have Win XP setup in a VM for Jaguar SDD.

After linking the JEPC folders I had it working in XP but still no graphics - but noticed the Flash was version 6 and remembered JEPC needed at least 11. Updated the Flash folder with Flash 16 files and all is now working.
So now have a perfectly usable version of JEPC with graphics

The Windows update that removes Flash is KB477586. I have not installed it yet and hope that I can choose not to install it.

Thanks for the update information and I want to remove it but strangely that KB is not listed in my update history?
Do you know what date it was released? I tried to install it manually from MS but it came up as already installed so that is water under the bridge at this point. As it can't be uninstalled from what I read.

After trying several different flash installs (I have Win10 Home) I now have the pictures showing up in the top left corner on top of the text showing the part numbers!
I am afraid I will need to wipe JEPC out completely and start again.

I removed all JEPC and installed the newer 2018 version. Got it working but again the pictures are in the wrong place?

Stumpy any help with what to remove and in what folders?

Depending on what Windows version you have you can pause updates for a certain period of time but that stops security updates as well. It is difficult to stop just that one update, it used to be possible using Windows show/hide updates software.

The update is listed in my update history as 20-02-21 - under Other Updates.
It is too late for you and the old version of JEPC as it sounds like the Microsoft update has already been applied to your system and as you say can not be uninstalled.
Sorry have not used the 2018 version so can't help with the misplaced graphics, but a re-install would be the best place to start.
