left headlamp assembly diagram
I just found out today, after fixing the loose wiring on left headlamp, that the entire assembly inside the housing is loose... How do I set it back tight? its pretty difficult to maneuver from this side as you all know so is there any easy way to do this?
my baby breaks my heart each day.... i cant wait till i get it fully restored.... its just a matter of time and $$$$... I appreciate all the help from everyone responding to my threads... Thanks guys!

RE: left headlamp assembly diagram
its broke inside, either before you FIXED it or during. anyway. take the rubber off from the lense, pop it in the oven for 10 mintues at 250 deg, take it out pop the retaining tabs loose(you can do before) and pull the clear plastic from the housing. The urethane will be nice and soft to easily(relative) to seperate. Then youll see where its broken on the post. Using some real good structural adhesive(3M etc) for plastic coat the mateing surfaces and rejoin them, Tape to hold and set up. after it does go back and add more to strengthen the repair. After youre satisfied(move the assembly alittle by hand, if you break it loose you need to do more epoxying now before you reinstall and break it again) put the seperated pieces back together snapping the tabs back down and reinstall rubber and headlight.....***NOTE***you will not be able to level the headlight again but if it was level before, and you did a good job, it will still be level when youre done. If you try to level with the adjusters youll break the repair, the adjusters posts are what breaks inside
