Need help with locks
I drive a 2013 xfr RWD and the other day I noticed when locking I would get one audible beep then shortly after two beeps indicating a fault and that my car isn't locked. Checked pretty much every fuse because my manual is for a different car I think lol
Then I tried locking the doors with key fob and leaving them far from car and every door opened and alarm started blaring. Sat in the car and pushed both key fob and dashboard lock and unlock(lock button on dash does nothing) ,all I hear is gas cap and trunk functioning and absolutely nothing from any of the doors. Windshield wipers and washers work fine, Bought an icarsoft, updated it and did a battery reset in the BMS and still no fix. Disconnected the positive terminal thinking it was a glitch in the system and maybe slim chance but maybe it would switch it back...... nope. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions
I'm kinda at my wits end with this and am trying my hardest to avoid taking it in to my local dealership
Thank you in advance

and that one microswitch will prevent all other doors to stop functioning completely. Like all 4 door locks do not function at all

Here's the relevant section from the Parts Catalogue for the XF front door:
Similar design to my XK. The reinforcement (item 7) was broken on mine in an attempted theft. The door handle can be removed from the outside with no other dismantling but the door has to be stripped down to get to the latch. I've had the earlier type of latch on the XK8 and X308 apart but haven't (yet!) needed to dismantle this later pattern.
If it's a cable or microswitch gone, parts cost will be reasonable but if you put it into a dealer, they would just replace the latch and the cost would be eye watering.

The modules are listed as programmable in the Parts Catalogue although that doesn't absolutely mean a module from an identical specification vehicle couldn't be substituted to plug-and-play. However, it's high risk without having SDD (Symptom Driven Diagnostics) available. This is generally required to read extended (7-digit) diagnostic codes and essential if module programming is required,

Before I go and do all that I have noticed lately that my front passenger door handle has been acting up when pulling it (its not a smooth motion like the rest) if its a cable or microswitch like u were originally talking about could that be the reason why none of the locks are function and the lock button on the dash has no response
