Today I had two new tires installed on the rear same tires that came on the vehicle new !
This vehicle is not stable at all in fact acting squirrelly I’m a mechanical type guy operated heavy equipment and drove trucks all my life anyone have a clue what’s causing this ? This car has 47000 miles on it !

Was it OK before that?

Obviously, check the work.

Then check the rear suspension, especially the bushes.

Welcome to the forums pwhjrxf,

Handled correctly BEFORE - unstable AFTER. It has to be the tyre replacement or coincidental failure of a suspension part. In any event, it needs immediate investigation for your own safety.

A badly balanced wheel usually causes vibration but doesn't affect handling. Possible causes of the handling issue you describe are:
1. wheel not bolted up correctly - loose nuts or wrong torque
2. rim not seated squarely on the hub
3. wheel distorted or cracked during tyre removal/fitting
4. tyre fault

I'd get straight back to the shop which did the work and give them the opportunity to check.

The vehicle was fine before the tires replacement !
This vehicle goes back and forth to Dallas five days a week pretty much open road ! My wife was driving it last night when this happen she knows her vehicle and is a motor head too ! I drove it hard last night for an hour different type of roads and speed ( Heavy On The Speed ) 😆😆😆 !!! It felt a little loose when I first started driving then it drove and handled like always !!!
The rear end mechanical looks fine as it should it only has 47000 miles ! I’m going to torque the lugs and check tire pressure’s again !!! Then drive it !!!
Thanks for the replies it had me puzzled !

Are the tires directional and installed backwards by chance? I've had that done to me before and it sounds similar to how my car acted.
