Be careful here. Some Jaguar codes change meaning by model and even model year.

This best source of this information is JTIS or Jaguar Topix for the specific car.

+1

If you had given any details of your own Model and Model Year, we could have done a direct comparison between the information posted by this source and that available in JTIS or Topix.

It's missing the full data that's in JTIS so stick to JTIS. Also omits some (many?) codes.

Actually there is some very useful information on this site, and for vehicles other than Jaguar. The most useful stuff is not the specific alpha-numeric code meaning, rather it is is the experience based most likely cause of the code.

I have been in Florida for 2months and my 2008 Subaru Outback began throwing an engine code--P0172.I followed the Service Manual trouble shooting routine and could find no reason forn the code.I checked this website and the advice on the most likely cause, followed the fix and solved the problem(dirty MAF sensor).
