Part number vs Jag number

Hi,
I've been looking for some parts and notice that when looking at part it has a different part number printed on it vs. The JEPC number? A voice activation control module for example;
Part Number 1R8F-14B292-HBJaguar Part from JEPC XRB30427
Is there a cross reference guide? On places such as ebay I only find part humber and not the JEPC part number?
Tks

No. The numbers printed on parts are manufacturing numbers (Usually Ford numbers) and I have not found anyway to convert them?
The reason you only see those numbers on EBay is because the people selling them don't know anything?
They are selling widgets and do not take the time to actually research what the part number is. So they look at the part and post what's printed on the part.
But that can be an advantage too. I try to get both numbers and search on both. Sometimes you can get parts that way.
As you said the hard part is finding both numbers!

See: https://bxproject.co.uk/blog/a-module-to-learn-with/
for an explanation of the Ford World Engineering Release System (WERS) parts numbers.
The post refers to LR but the system is the same.
