Default Programming a Used ECM - Engineer Mode Needed? Seed calculator don't work

Hello (from France) everyone. I own a Jaguar X-type from 2004. My ECM seems to be faulty (no longer manages the injection well). I purchased a used ECM that I want to run on my vehicle.

I tried several versions of SDD (125, 130, 138) but cannot get the car to start with the new computer.

I tried the "program new module" function. SDD asks me to choose the VID number. If I choose the one for my vehicle, programming cannot be done and SDD indicates "VID mismatch". If I choose the VID of the new ECM the programming works but the car cannot start and indicates a security problem.

Looking on the forums, I have the impression that I would have to activate the "engineer mode" to change the VID number of the ECM. I tried two different code generators with my different versions of SDD but it doesn't work. The bar on SDD does not turn yellow and no new functions appear.

My two calculators do not have the same reference, the original one is a "BD" and the other a "DA". Maybe that has an influence.

THANKS

now I will post a link to the calculator of the engineering menu. To work with it, you need to disable the antivirus : https://transfiles.ru/yd0ga the link is valid for 14 days

Thank you for sharing. I already have exactly this generator, as well as another one. They both give me the same code when I enter the VIN and the Seed. But this doesn't work with any of the SDD versions I've used. I don't see what the error is.

I would like to try version 160, so if engineer mode works for you I hope it will work for me too. When you switch to engineer mode on this version, doe's a yellow banner appears? On the other hand, I am not sure that the V160 is compatible with my 2004 X-type. Thank you
