Hoping someone can help me. I had a new battery so needed to enter my system set up code. I had that 4 digit code on a card but every time I entered it said code invalid. I have course tried more than three times. It then said please wait. After some time it asked me for the code again. Same thing. Is there a way of resetting as I think this code must be wrong. X type jag with radio sat nav etc. Thank you
I don't know of a way of resetting the code however if you feel you have the incorrect code then depending on where you live you may be able to get the correct code.
I live in UK and bought a twenty year old XJS without the radio code being g provided.
A trip to a Jaguar franchised dealer with my VIN number and proof of ownership and amazingly for such an old model they looked it up on their computer

VIN = Vehicle identification Number. If you haven't seen it on the tag visible through the passenger side of the windscreen or the label on the passenger door pillar, look in your V5C Registration Certificate. In Section 4 - Vehicle Details, the VIN is item E.
