Default S Type Tailight issues

I have a 2005 S type 3.0. Ive had rear lights going out and replacing them but now they are all out. When I brake during the day they don't light up at all and the one in the rear windshield only dimly flickers. At night they glow faintly but don't light up when I brake. And the blinkers are a totally hit or miss proposition. A couple of people have suggested its the computer and not the bulbs. Anybody run across this before?

Check the connection to the bulb carrier itself. Look at the way that ground is distributed on that assembly. Any corrosion would take out any or all functions. Look at both sides. Spray with electrical contact cleaner. Might be that simple. Built in system that checks for blown bulbs doesn't like high resistance paths, which corroded contacts present.
