Default Seagull poo

Hi all
My Red car was targeted by a whole squadron the other week. The bonnet was completely covered.

I cleaned it off within a few hours but under the garage bulb the marks were still there. I MOPed them out with G3 and applied some colour wax. A week later the marks reappeared. My bodywork guru told me that he has seen this stuff eat clean through the clearcoat, it is that acidic and for some reason highly polished red cars seem to be a particular target.

Worse still I missed a bit, put it in the garage and went on holiday. When I came back and cleaned it off it has taken some of the plastic from the window surround.

I just wondered if anyone knows of a product I could do a cheap repair to this please? I thought about RVT but not sure if that will work. Blooming flying rats.

Any advice greatly appreciated guys.

Smitty
