Service completed "acknowledgement"...
Our 2020 F-pace is currently stuck at the dealership. I took it in first thing this AM for an oil/filter change, as well as a state mandated, annual safety inspection. The tech gets it all completed in just under an hour, then he hits a "brick wall".
Apparently, after all this is done, Jaguar corporate requires that the car is plugged in to their site, and the completed service is logged in as completed, supposedly for some sort of tracking purposes. I'll assume that it's for the purpose of accepting or denying warranty claims, demonstrating if required services were or weren't performed. Fine.....
As mentioned, the tech finishes the work, then goes to log the data, and the "system" won't respond!! He tried everything he could think of, to get our car logged into the system, to no avail. I waited around for about another hour, while they worked on the problem. At that point, they dug out one of their loaner cars, and sent me on my way. It's now almost 5 hours, and apparently they've had no luck with our car, as I haven't heard anything from them. Worse yet, they told me that this isn't the first time that this is happened!
Has anyone else run into this??
