Pulling my few remaining hairs out. Last week I found on this site a place that had TSB's and one in particular for my problem, i.e. replacement of o-rings for convertible top locking mechanisms. No, i didn't save it. This particular one was for 97-98 but it didn't change till 2004.
This would seem to be a great thing to put in quick links.
Thank you for your patience in dealing with the computer illiterate!
I have a 2001 XK-8 with 116M miles.

Jim,
It can take a while to find your way around the forums as there's so much information here.
We have an XK8/XKR TSB 'sticky':

If I recall correctly, you were directed to Gus's website JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource for the TSB?

Gus has a great compilation of info that he gathered from all over. He contacted me about all the info I uploaded and asked if I had any objections to sharing the info. He also posts info on mechanics in certain regions of the country.
This forum probably has all the info BUT it is spread out over a great many pages of discussion and NOT a step-by-step repair manual. This forum is a DISCUSSION.
People contribute alternate ways of diagnosis/repair and opinion as well as 'Here's what happened to me' type stories. To a 'JAG HEAD' this provides for some interesting reading.
