2021 or 2022?

2021 or 2022?
I was planning to buy a 2021 I-Pace, mainly for the Pivi Pro system. But they don't seem to have landed in the US yet.
And now the 2022 is in the pipeline, with its tweaked exterior and interior upgrades.
So... does anyone have information on when either of these models might be in the US?
And what would you choose: the 2021 or the 22?

The issue with electrics is the battery and we are due for a major battery technology upgrade (GM has already announced). Jaguar just announced (which was anticipated) a major change in overall design and direction, it will have an impact on 2003 but 2002 may be too early for much of the line but I'd expect the iPace to be hit first. Were it me, I'd wait until I had an idea what the 2002 will look like before making the decision. It likely will be minor but there is a chance it will be major and worth waiting for, but, until you know which there is a huge risk of getting the decision wrong: JAGUAR LAND ROVER REIMAGINES THE FUTURE OF MODERN LUXURY BY DESIGN | JLR Corporate Website

Thanks, Rob. Very interesting. Hadn't seen the big restructuring announcement. As you said, the question is how long do you wait for these changes? I guess we can sit tight for a while longer. But if it's going to be 2024 or 2025 before we see the big changes, I might as well bite the bullet, get into a 2022 I-Pace, then trade up if something incredible comes along later.

It still doesn't answer the the original question, though: what the heck is going on with the '21s? Are they skipping it in North America and just going straight on to the '22? And when will any of these dang cars actually make it to my local showroom?
My big fear is they're sitting on a pile of unsold '20s (and even some '19s), so they're in no hurry to bring in the new models. But I for one have zero interest in the older models... I'll bet a lot of savvy buyers feel the same.
Just give me something I can buy, for Pete's sake. :-)
