Broken Charger Door

Broken Charger Door
Well, it was bound to happen, was in a rush, pulled the charger cable but didn't close the charger door, and I damn near ripped the thing off the car. I was able to snap back on the cover and the hinge isn't broken but the latch on the door is toast, and it is a glued in non-replaceable part. I was able to find a replacement at Suburban Auto Parts. What you want is the T4K4511 Charging Port and cost was a very reasonable $70.76 and it is held on by 4 clips. However, to get to the damn thing you have to pull off the left front fender, which is a tad tricky for one person so I'm likely going to pay someone to do that. So make sure you close the charger door when you back out of your garage. I also found a source for a shop manual and I'll put that in a separate thread so it can more easily be found. Here is the link in case it happens to anyone else: https://www.suburbanautoparts.com/v-...or-trim-fender it is item # 5 on the page, they also have the door but it is just the unpainted cover and it is item #8.
