Coming I-Pace Alternatives

Coming I-Pace Alternatives
My I-Pace is scheduled to come off lease in March and I've already started to consider alternatives. I expect many of you are beginning to consider what comes after your I-Pace as well so figured a thread on alternatives might be interesting. So, if you are in the hunt, what are you looking at to replace your I-Pace?
Clearly on the list is the 2023 I-Pace which many argue will be a major change from the current model but little or nothing exists, yet, on that car. The other cars are the Ford Mustang Mach-e GT and the Cadillac Lyriq with twin motors (which won't be released for pre-order until the end of this year). Both cars have sold out quickly I'm likely to have a pretty big gap between when my I-Pace goes back and I can get a replacement. I'm also thinking of just buying out the lease on my 2019 and keeping it till 2025-7 when my choices should increase dramatically. Anyway, my I-Pace just fits in the garage where I have it and I thought the Lyriq was bigger in all dimensions dropping it off my list. It isn't, it is actually more narrow than the I-Pace. I thought this was an interesting stat so figured I'd share it. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2021/05...al-comparison/

Mach-E
I don't get that the Mach-E GT, the performance model, is faster to 60 but slower to 110. Or it will be better at stoplight racing which we shouldn't do and worse at passing which I do all the time. So that car is out until they figure out how to do a performance car, they being FORD, and FORD should know better. How can you have a performance model that limits performance during hard acceloration? https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a3...n%2DGT%20model.

I like the look of the Hyundai, but agree, I don't see anything before the 2023 model run that is good enough to get me to switch and by then Jaguar should have an I-Pace refresh. So I'm going to hang with the I-Pace until or unless I see something I like a lot better. So far, I haven't seen anything I like as much.
