Exclamation CPO Worth it?

Hi everyone,

My 2019 I-PACE 3-year lease expires this month and I only have 16,800 miles on it. The residual value is about 37,000 that owe if I were to buy it. Buying a new one would be way too expensive.

I have 2 more years of warranty and the battery I think comes with an 8-year warranty.

Do I need to get the vehicle through CPO and get an additional 2 years warranty? I'm sure the dealer would charge me at least $5000 for it plus all the processing and documentation fees.
I could instead send the leasing company $37000 and avoid a hassle trip if the CPO isn't worth it.

Appreciate your advice. Thanks so much.

I didn't go the CPO route, but when I looked earlier this year, my buy out what about what yours is, and low blue book was something like $52K and I figured that was a deal, so bought my car from the dealer. These are pretty much rolling appliances, so I think the risk of not doing the CPO is reasonable, but as always, it depends on your own risk tolerance. (I only have 11K on mine). I'm getting mine wrapped in a couple of weeks. Good luck!
