Default Data request: kWh/mi vs mph

Hi,

When you get your I-Pace, I would be interested in seeing some benchmark data at constant speeds with the kWh/mi or kW/mi and temperature over either a bi-directional route or loop of 10 miles. Bi-directional or a loop tends to even out wind and altitude effects. Get to a given speed and set cruise control; reset a trip meter; after 10 miles, record the kWh/mi, speed, and temperature. Bi-directional means there will be two metrics that we'll average.

The reason is we've seen other cars like the Prius have some "knee in the curve" effects. Also, having a chart make trip planning a lot easier so you can map how to reach a distant charger. Now if we could just find someone in Montana to do a Bjørn Nyland, 125 mph benchmark:

There is no rush. Let's wait until people get the production cars. Just think of this as another reason for a road trip.<grins>

We'll need to revisit this again when our cars come in (earliest I've seen is October so far) as I'm really not sure what you are trying to accomplish but I'll be initially driving the hell out of mine so a bi-directional drive won't be a problem. It won't be at 125 though, I have no desire to get yelled at again. They got really upset when I was doing 110 down the freeway and 125 might actually get me ticketed...
