You'll need the Tesla app as well to locate charging stations you can use and to handle the financial transaction for the power. I haven't tried this yet, but I have one of these coming to try it out. (They've come down a lot in price over the last few months):

Rob, I started to buy the same adapter, but it was unclear to me if Tesla had enabled the I-Pace yet on their network like they have with Ford, Rivian and others. I had heard that the chargers might do a VIN check, but there is little authoritative info I've seen on all this. What have you learned? Thanks for anything you can share.

Here is a video of how a Ford Mach-e can use these chargers, they require a software update that isn't available on the Jaguars yet, suggesting this won't yet work on an I-Pace, and it also requires the charger has been updated as well so, right now it is iffy at best for non-Tesla cars and likely won't work with any car that doesn't have the software update.
