Key fob replacement for I-Pace

I've even been unable to find covers for this remote. If you go to the sites that sell these things they have them for prior generations of Jaguars and Range Rovers but they don't have this remote yet. So the Dealer may be your only option. I did find a used one on eBay but you'd still likely have to go to the dealer to get it to work and have to risk it being defective. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2019-21-JAG...MAAOSwAX9e5Swd

When searching for it using the FCC ID KOBJXF18A I have found few key shells and also this same as you eBay seller.
In the their description they say it has been “tested and expected to be in good working order“ - whatever they imply by expected.
Any idea what a dealer charges for a new remote and for reprogramming a used one?
Do you know if a used key can be unlocked and reprogrammed for a different car by a locksmith? How to find out as I do not know one?
Thank you

I don't know if this one can but I've done this with other Jaguar remotes without issue. Last time my wife lost a remote it was with our Infinity and I think that cost us $425 to have the dealer replace and program it. Haven't lost an I-Pace remote yet, knock on wood. You could just call your dealer and ask.
