Default Repair of weird issue we had

SO I am not sure who has or uses the lane departure warning system? if you cross over a lane without turning on the turn signal the steering wheel vibrates....

Well we had been having a weird issue that; if we went over 40 MPH and made a slight right turn, ( like a rambling road or freeway ramp ) the wheel would do the vibrate thing , it was disconcerting at least and maybe even a little dangerous. We were going in for the recall and software update and thought it may solve the issue ( this would happen whether or not the lane assist was turned on ). Well it did not, so we made an appointment to have them look at the issue. At first they were not able to do it when they test drove, maybe too much traffic , blah blah. after a day they called back and told us they were able to experience it and they were a little freaked out and the tech was startled when it happened. I mean your driving along and all of a sudden the wheel starts shaking, . They kept the car for a few days reset set some sensors and modules, but nothing would fix the issue. Luckily for us another owner was having the same problem and because he had multiple cars he was able to leave his there for them to troubleshoot. After a few weeks they called back that they had a fix, !

Long story not to long i hope .....

They had to replace the power steering rack. Now it is back and as awesome as ever !

Congrats and agree that it was incredibly dangerous!
