Default Suddenly no sound

After a routine trip to the grocery store, I started my warmed up car and no sound came from the infotainment system. I expected my USB connected thumb drive to pick up where it had left off, and I saw from the display that the song was progressing, but no volume. No other source had sound, either. The voice control system could not hear my voice command. The navigation system worked but no sound. 10 minutes later while driving the sound for the turn signal didn't work, but then randomly started working again. I turned the car off and on again at a stop light, but no change. I will see tomorrow if things have changed.
Any insights?

Update: started car today and sound is back.
Saw a number of posts on UK iPace forum in 2019 and one in 2022 on this same issue. No diagnosis or fix other than wait and restart car, like a "buggy PC."
Found link to YouTube video allegedly showing a way to access a settings screen, but haven't yet viewed.

Default Didn't fully boot

I wonder if your system didn't fully boot. I know if I start moving before the system fully boots, sometimes it hangs, and the center console and sound system remain off, and it may later finish booting, or I may have to power cycle the car to get it to boot. The Intel-based AV system that the first generation cars have has an impressively long boot time; I was under the impression that the newer Qualcomm-based system was booting much faster in the later cars reducing or eliminating this problem.

That is an interesting possibility. Indeed, although I am not a complete hotfoot, I sometimes do not wait until the large display is completely started up because it can sometimes take over a minute. Who has that kind of time? I will keep that in mind when this happens again.

I have definitely had this issue with my 2019 more than once. It always resolves itself eventually. It's annoying when it happens, so I hope Jaguar will provide an update to help with this problem.
