Wilton Wool?

Don't know about your XJS carpets, but Wilton weaving is a process not a wool.
It is a weaving method whereby the face yarns that are not selected by the Jacquard are reintegrated into the warp and weft yarns in the back of the carpet.
It can also use man made fibre rather than wool.
Axminster is also a process.
Wilton carpets seem to have latex or rubber type backing.
(WW1 generation relatives in the textile industry. NW UK) in case anyone was wondering.
Now as for the XJS having wool in the carpet I would err on the side of caution in your care and think yes.
If it is man made, wool care methods won't hurt it. IMHO.
