I've been trying to contact JLR regarding renewal of my InControl subscription.
Despite renewing for two years in advance in December 2023, it has been deactivated from the actual expiry date at the beginning of February 2024.
(my full name and vehicle registration are redacted here for obvious reasons)
eMails to the address given by JLR for InControl help are rejected and calls to CRC fail. Please provide a contact name and number to resolve this issue.
As JLR did not respond to this thread, I raised the issue with an independent resolution service in the UK. Within 24 hours, Jaguar Customer Relations in Coventry, England telephoned me.
JLR did not dispute I had made a renewal subscription payment for 2 years on 31st December 2023 or that the InControl connection to my vehicle had been disabled on 1st February 2024. The service was re-instated with additional time added for the period it had been unavailable. They naturally apologised for the error and advice given was NOT to renew too far in advance in future but to leave it until near the expiry date.
The only complication was having to reconnect the vehicle to InControl using the "spanner" button on the overhead console and also removing and reinstalling the Jaguar Remote app on my iPhone for synchronisation.
