Engine swap?

Change all computers (dash, GEM, REM, EPB, ABS/DSC, etc) on the multiple car networks, fuel pumps, and the list goes on. Not viable unless you've lots of money, time & talent. Would be "fun" to see it done but much much cheaper to sell car & buy something else.
Please move to S-Type forum if you have any further questions as there are others there who can help put you off.
Jaguar Specialties would be a possibility but very costly.

I've already been in contact with Andrew at Jag Specialties about an S-Type conversion like he's done with the X308 & X100, short answer is not a chance...
Funny enough you're not the first to ask about the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...riously-84424/
Maybe have a look at the latest discussion on engine swaps: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...s-type-130572/

It almost happened from the factory!
Initially Ford were pushing Jaguar to put that huge and unreliable nasty Volvo Straight six into the X202/X250.This happened after they didn't want to invest any money- and we'd made good progress on the JV6 upgrade- which was to be GDi and have a wall of torque and superb efficiency (and to be launched long before the EcoBoost). After all the folks working on the JV6 upgrade were laid off- Volvo in Sweden started to work on adapting that huge and nasty straight six into this RWD application.
This engine made no power as Volvo don't know how to make power and torque without boosting. They went to Yammaha. Luckily the plug was pulled and there was a plan to put in the 3.7 litre Ecoboost instead.
This fell through also and Jaguar was sold- and Tata prefers to invest for the long haul rather than live quarter to quarter like most US companies
