Eurotoys performance jaguar parts
Some of you followed posts I made after having a damaged engine with bent valves after doing a upper and lower pulley swap on a XKR. The issue stemmed from a lower pulley that we found out later was from a Land Rover 4.2 not a Jaguar 4.2. We NOW all know theyre not the same and have a slightly larger crank hub which will push the crank seal back into the primary chain enough to cause it to jump time and bend all the valves on A bank.
I have recommended people here and elsewhere to Mike @ Jaguar & Range Rover Performance Parts & Upgrades - Eurotoys Ltd for years for performance parts as few have done anything for performance on Jaguars.
long story short Im sure one of his customers got a Jaguar kit from him and then decided to keep their stock lower pulley and go to a junkyard and get any old 4.2 to send back for a core. Thinking a Land Rover was the same they sent this back and then this was machined and sent to my customer as a JAGUAR lower pulley!
Even though they look the similar theyre not and you know what they say about hindsite. After talking to Mike over several phone calls about damage he stepped to the plate as we resolved the issue to everyones overall satisfaction.
So I still highly recommend Eurotoys now more than ever since the differance between a good company and a great comapny is not that mistakes dont happen but what is done after they do!!
and if youre the customer of Mikes that sent back the LR pulley instead of your Jaguar one like you were supposed to, shame on you you asshat. you have no idea the trouble, time and money you costs others...

Nice one Brutal........
It takes a big man to step up and admit that perhaps he was wrong or certainly not all right, whatever way you want to put it
It sounds as if you did nothing wrong and neither did Mike at Eurotoys, simply both victims of someone else's mistake.
Its probably the worst case scenario as both parties feel they're in the right and it becomes hard to find middle ground.
I'm so glad you got it all sorted and that Mike really stepped up to the plate, kudos to Eurotoys on this.
As you say, it speaks volumes about any Company as to how they react when there is an issue.
Thanks so much for taking the time to post this
