It is with enormous satisfaction that yesterday I received this letter from the GENTILOZZI family regarding my project with their engine.
I am truly HONORED for this!

Isn't the letter from the same company that sold you the engine? I would sent you a letter too 😊

[QUOTE = AlexJag; 2255728] Non credo tu abbia capito ... [/ QUOTE]

Regardless if its the seller as Alexjag mentioned, it is still a nice gesture to write this letter. But to be honest, it does make me wonder what you paid for the block in the 1st place. Another real nice gesture was for them to deliver the block as a sales sample, that alone saved you at least 30% on the sale price.
The car was already on a dyno right? what where the results so far?

there are specific agreements including not to disclose test data.
however, regardless of the mere numbers, I think that the uniqueness of having an engine certified by the RSR team increases considerably the prestige and value of my car therefore, after the long work done, it is a source of pride for me what is happening at regardless of the effort I put into each part and the expenses incurred.

Was just interested in the results (its already 2 years), but take it more work needs to be done to get into the good range matching the prestige.
Well wish you good luck (and patience), am looking forward to what you and RSR will be able to get out of the setup.

The Onyx XKR from Italy
Luca, my Friend:
I've watched this creation for several years now; you've created a Wonderful looking and Mechanically excellent XKR (Coupe)! I've watched it for (2) reasons: #1. It's a Black 2005 XKR which looks almost as good as mine....Unfortunately, your Coupe has a Black Interior while my Beautiful Ebony XKR has an Ivory Interior, so I feel that mine is the best looking of the two....but that's where the comparison ends. You have upgraded the Struts, the Springs and the Shocks and then, you were nice enough to tell us where we could purchase a set if we want to do the same thing. You've shown us Photos of the Building of your Engine, Enlarging and Porting of the Supercharger and your revamped Intercooling System.....Most of the things the rest of us out here in Jaguar Forum Land would like to have done or do to our XKR's. I also appreciate the information you've given me personally, about the 83MM Throttle-Body...and I enjoyed seeing your Exhaust System! I still want to know where or how you came up with the Center Magnaflow Double Muffler?
Congratulations on receiving such a nice Letter from RSR....I'm sure they are proud of the way you are displaying and using the Engine....
You are a Gentleman and I am proud to be considered a friend of both you and your Beautiful Wife!. I will look forward to maybe having your Family visit with us here in Cinco Ranch, sometime in the future!

I think this should be the best spirit of being part of a forum with the same passion for our cars: having new acquaintances and new distant friends!
definitely in the future, I will plan a vacation at Cinco Ranch!
PS: soon I will redo the leather interior of my car with the RSR logo (Gentilozzi has authorized me to use the logo wherever I want). I will redo the BLACK interiors! I love black and it gives a more racing air than light colors! therefore I like mine more! :-) :-)
but we have 2 wonderful black cats!
thanks for your demonstrations of affection and esteem! really appreciated!
