Email to Forum users
I have just sent emails to over 10,000 of the existing members with post count of 1 or more still active.
This mail is to briefly inform them of the changes to the site, the recent upgrade and remind them of the benefits of using same.
I'm hoping that it may jog some memories of those who haven't visited for a while and entice them to revisit the place and renew old friendships / maybe make some new ones?
Please drop by in here and advise if your email has been received ok.
Thanks

Lol....I musta sent some twice......Talk about giving me a hard time
Seriously though guys, thanks for taking the time to drop by and advise of receipt of the mails. Its nice to know they're getting through.
I sent to all registered members, so why some didn't receive them is a mystery ( perhaps as they've chosen NOT to receive emails from the site? )
I'm hoping that current users may use the site more frequently, inactive users may be curious and drop in to see whats what and that it gets a little more buzz about the place.
I definitely think its something I'll try to do on maybe a bi - monthly basis if possible.

Guys, thanks for posting and nice to see that it has worked to some degree. If even a few members who have been AWOL for some time revisit, then its been a worthwhile exercise, as per nosox, speedy etc etc.
JJ, Translator etc and the rest of the "die hard " core of the site....apologies, but hey you're here ALL the time anyway.....and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Rest assured that doesn't mean we take you for granted guys.
