Someone sent me a visitor message, which I read, viewed whom it was from, and when I returned it was gone and I was unable to reply to it but I know I did not click any key to delete it? do those messages disappear after reading them unlike member messages that I can always return back to view and reply back to?

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to Jaguar Forums Feedback & Suggestion Center forum. This is the place to post questions about the forum.
NO - Visitor Messages do not disappear after reading. They stay until you choose to delete them using the button at the bottom of the screen.
Here's a VM you received yesterday:

It is 1 of 6 VM's in your queue.
Visitor Messages are public - anyone can see them. Private Messages are only visible to the sender, the recipient and forum Admin.
