Default Obnoxious Ads

While visiting this forum I am now being overwhelmed with pop up adds. Its is also happening with many sites other than this forum. I use Chrome with AdBlock Plus and it is not doing the job. Any recommendations on a good blocker that will cut down on this noise?

For me, ensuring that I am logged in before viewing does the trick. I run Microsoft Edge....

You probably have a semi-malicious extension in Chrome. Check to ensure your Chrome is add-in free.

I use this site constantly and there are no pop-up ads. The clue in your post is that you have the problem on multiple sites. Your Chrome is to blame.
