How do you advertise a car or parts for sale in the UK?
The old system let you pick the region that you wanted to advertise in but now it just seems to be a free for all.
And, the statement that adverts placed in forums will be removed is all a bit Peking diktat thank you very much.
Or possibly 'Thou shalt not', haven't decided yet, pretty similar.

Steve - when you get to the second page of creating the listing - it lets you select the country/region. Once you have the advertisement created, then you can copy the link to the regional section and no one will flag it.
hope this helps,

The only place for ADVERTISEMENTS is in MARKETPLACE. The reason we don't allow advertising in the MODEL forums is because advertisments are soon redundant or irrelevant as items are bought and sold but the threads STAY THERE FOREVER. In MARKETPLACE, you can flag your advertisement as CLOSED once you are finished with it.
Many members were still receiving PM's and emails weeks, months and years after their item had been purchased/sold. They were getting annoyed with this and the only effective solution was to restrict advertising to MARKETPLACE where a member can CLOSE their own advertisement when no longer required.
