Temporary blank screen

As soon as I come in to the Jaguar Forums Website and before I select any topics, my laptop screen goes black and it stays black for a while. Then, when it returns to normal and I click another selection, it goes black again, but only for 2 to 3 seconds and then it goes to normal again and this will keep repeating after any screen selection.
I just need to know if this is just me (in which case I'd blame my computer) or is it happening to anybody else here. The thing is that this does not ever happen with any other Website that I visit.
Any info is much appreciated

The reason why it may happen here and not other sites you visit is because every website is different to some degree. Some sites are far more basic and simple and thus use less resources and different coding. There are a few billion websites online. I'd imagine you might see the same issue on a few of those billion sites, in addition to JaguarForums, if you visited a larger sample size.
