Default Uploading a pdf file

I've been trying to upload a pdf file on how to remove an STR supercharger, but the upload keeps failing. The file is only 2.8mb
and supposedly the site will accept one as big as 5.1mb.

Any idea what's keeping it from uploading ?

Hi, in a word 'no'.

I also have problems when trying to upload largish files directly in a post (updating FAQs etc) using the manage attachment feature.

I finally resorted, as you have done, to using a file sharing site mediafire, and linking to that.

I have grabbed your 'How to remove the Supercharger' from your RapidShare account, and will try a direct upload to the Forum from here. Failing that, I will upload to my Jaguar Forum Mediafire account and link back from there.

When I will then add it to the S-Type FAQ.

Thanks for your perseverance, it is info such as this, that goes to make a good FAQ.

I tried to upload/attach your 2.1 MB file, and I too failed the direct route. I have had success in the past with much larger files...something is squirrely.

Anyway, I snagged it also and put in on my personal server space, and fixed your link in that thread.

Don't give up on future uploads, it may just be a temp glitch.

I have tried to upload .pdf lately and the upload does not show up as an attachment. I have uploaded large .pdf in the past and they used to load OK.
